A truly wonderful place. We stayed 5 nights in the end after originally planning on 3. Beach 50m from our pitch (no. 19 - don't forget your chocks) An amazing view and so peaceful. Great welcome and you choose your spot. Facilities were clean and practical. Went swimming one afternoon and had the pleasurable company of a seal who lives around that part of the coast. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Great area for walking and climbing rocks. Camp site was almost empty in June. Totally silent away from all traffic, right on stone beach. Free parking opposite for day visiting and free public toilet. Unfortunately the public one's are not well maintained.
Good walking possibilities from the camping, easy access to the beaches (stone and rock only, no sand at low tide). Sanitary installations simple but clean and in good state. Pitches are of a good size. Ocean view only from the pitches in the upper part of the campsite due to the a high hedge around the whole campsite.
This community campsite is situated on the end of peninsula and the view is breathtaking. There are no trees to give you any shade. There aren't any lanterns so bring your own otherwise you can't find your way in the dark.
The place is visited by the French, of course, but also lots of Germans and Dutch.
Employees speak a little English, some rather good.
A good sand beach is close by. Many good walking paths.
Supermarkets aren't in the neighborhood, one has to take the car.
Simple yet recommendable camping.
Toilets and bathrooms are simple but clean.
An amazing spot, stunning views and the person who runs it is marvellous. You can order bread everyday. It's an idyllic spot.
The showers are token (jeton) standard with municipal campsites. Theres a washing machine €5 jeton. But when we went the tumble dryer was broken. Not really am issue in the sunshine with washing lines provided. A few minutes walk and you are on the beach. A campers campsite.
A really lovely place with a warm welcome, BUT:
During the night of 1 July 2018 an extremely noisy event took place just outside the camping place on the meadows. The party began at 5.30 pm and they played vibrating bass beats the whole night long. We were not able to find sleep. The music was being heard even at 3.30 am when we definitely decided to leave the place.
I think people should be informed when checking in that a loud event will take place during the night so they have the possibility to relocate early. Sadly, no information was given.
Stunning view and location. However poor facilities (no soap and paper towels, no toilet paper and only few toilets). Wifi is available at some pitches. Friendly staff, speak a little English. Value for money is good.
Unbelievable views of the ocean; steps away from a (rocky) beach. Where I live in California, I'd have to book out a campsite like this three months in advance. This place was only about 30% full in late June.
